Viera also inducted into Titan 100 Hall of Fame, honoring Georgia’s most elite C-level executives

February 5, 2024, ATLANTA– For the third consecutive year, Church’s Texas Chicken® and Texas Chicken™ Global Chief People Officer Karen Viera has been named to the Georgia Titan 100, a program recognizing Georgia’s top CEOs and C-level executives for their passion, vision and leadership. Additionally, Viera will be inducted into the Titan 100 Hall of Fame, a prestigious distinction bestowed on only ten Titan 100 honorees following a rigorous series of interviews and live judging sessions.

In her role, Viera leads all human resource functions for the brand. In 2023, she implemented the All Stars & Legends Program, recognizing those who have been with the brand for more than 15 years, and the Trailblazers Innovation Program, designed to foster diversity of ideas and perspectives, promote professional development, and increase employee engagement and satisfaction. Viera also developed and oversaw the company’s first-ever culture survey in 2022, taking the survey beyond engagement into a true understanding of company culture. Of particular significance was the survey’s 89 percent favorable engagement rate, which increased to 90 percent this year. In 2021, Church’s® was named a Top Workplace by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution under her leadership.

Viera will be honored at the Titan 100 awards on May 9, 2024 at Zoo Atlanta: Savanna Hall. One of the city’s most treasured historic buildings, the 1921 building has been revitalized by Zoo Atlanta for its new life today. As home of the Atlanta Cyclorama for more than 90 years, the building is famous for its grand scale and neoclassical architecture. This unique cocktail-style awards event will gather 100 Titans of Industry and their guests for an evening unlike anything that exists in the Georgia business community.
